Well the bumbo seat is offically retired to the basement and the high chair has been put together. Holy smokes this kid is growing too fast! Now Lainey gets to sit like a big girl at the island while we eat supper. She is not getting any solids yet but it will be here soon enough. We are sticking with good ol momma's milk until 6 months. We celebrated her 4 month birthday getting her pictures taken at CB with Anna. She did soo good! I was able to view them a week later and they turned out amazing as always. Soon I will have a video to share as well.

We have enjoyed lots of fun outings so far this month including Texas Roadhouse for Aunt Jaimee's b-day, the eye dr, 4 month well visit to the dr, Gt Aunt Patti's for a b-day party, and many more places. The dinner at Texas Roadhouse was great because my Uncle Ed was able to meet her. He just loved her up the whole time saying how good she smelled. At Aunt Patti's she met 2nd cousin Kolten for the first time. I unfortunately was at work but am so glad everyone got a chance to spend time with Lainey. 18 weeks my girl rolled over back to tummy and Mom & Dad both witnessed it. You would have thought we were at the races or something. We were both rooting her on and encouraging her like crazy! Rhett imediately said lets videotape to send to the Grandma's!!
At the 4 month dr appt Ms. Lainey weighed 14.6 lbs 50th percentile, length was 26" 96th percentile, head circum 15.4" 10th percentile. My long leggy small headed baby!! Shots went much better than first round. She only cried for about 30 seconds and then was just fine. That day was gorgeous outside so we took a walk at Lincoln Park. That evening in an instant my poor baby got just a tad fussy. She was upset for about an hour and half then fell asleep till the next morning. The time has come to put away all the 0-3 month clothing and she is wearing mostly 3-6 months now. No shortage of clothes or bows thanks to Grandma P, Aunt Jaimee, & Aunt Nancy. In addition to rolling over like a crazy lady Lainey likes to push her upper body off the floor. Sometimes she will get on all fours and rock and other times she looks like she is doing a plank. Such a strong girl!

She loves grabbing noses, hair, glasses, anything those tiny hands can reach....At ApplesBees we had our first mess when Lainey grabbed my glass of water and knocked it over everywhere. We attended a cloth diaper party and that was fun! Funny story about our cloth diapers. If this doesn't make your day then I don't know what else will. If cloth diapers are stained you just let them sit in sun and that removes the stains. Since this winter hasn't had many sunny days I haven't had the opportunity to sun them yet. Last week I decided to set about 6 of them on our deck. My Mom texts me at work with a picture of the diapers. A little birdie decided to poop on them while flying over. I about died when she sent this text. What is the LUCK!!!!! The whole deck to poop on and I guess the bird decided to do some target practice. My Mom rinsed them, laid back out in sun and they were just fine. Just for the record I did wash them when I got home too! I think that is a good one for the baby book! Overall everyday just gets better and better. It amazes me how much such a tiny person is capable of.
