Baby Shower Gifts!!!!

We received a lot of wonderful gifts at my baby shower. Too many to name all of them but I shall share a few or 10. Haha!!
Here we go!!
Everyone gets blankets at baby showers and mine was no exception. We got 1 crocheted, 1 knitted, 1 quilted, 1 with embroidery, and a few others. They are all wonderful but I have to say Janet you outdid yourself on the quilt. It is soooo sweet and right up our alley on the print. I just love it. The blanket that has embroidery has a nice little story behind it as well. My grandma Phegley embroidered a whole bunch of quilt blocks years ago. She passed away 2 years ago. Recently my aunt had gotten the blocks out and let me choose the set I liked best. My mom & aunt then shopped for fabric and then had it made into a blanket. I knew I was getting it but had not seen the finished product before the shower. It turned out perfect and I can't wait to share the story with our little princess when she is older. A little gift from her great grandmother.

We received the awesome stroller/carseat that was on the registry from the big Simpson Clan!! I think their were 20 names on the card. Thank you to all of you!!!!!! The gift also came with a video monitor which was very exciting.

My wonderful artistic sissy in law Erin made me a wall hanging for baby's room. Love it. When Meg had her baby shower and she got a cute wall hanging I think I did a little hint hint...would love something like that when I get pregnant. So subtle lol.
It's probably hard to see but the painting says (Daddy's little Dear) and it has a pic of baby deer on it. So sweet!!!

adorable bibs I got from Sarah & her mom!!!!!
Thank you so much!! I just love them

This child already has a wardrobe bigger than mine so she is set on clothes for a while. Only one double on outfits so I thought that was good. We also received diapers, bathtubs, boppys, a mobile for crib, baskets filled with goodies, bouncer, baby gate, and the list could go on and on. I think it took like 2 weeks to sort through everything and get it all out of the dining & living room off the couches.

My amazing sister and soon to be auntie!!!!!!!!!!!

Patients at work are now starting to comment on me being pregnant without me telling them. It's crazy to say yep only 5 weeks to go. The time is just flying by so quickly. Often people will say well you sure aren't very big but I def feel big!! I am getting heartburn often. It seems lately that water is the culprit which sucks bc I try and drink a lot of water all the time. Sleeping at night has become a bit of an interesting thing. Rolling over especially from one side to the other is hard to do. I still only get up once a night to pee. Thank goodness for that! I am back to my normal shift at work going in at noon and having mon & fri off. I enjoyed the day shift and all weekends off but kinda glad to go back to my routine. I was thankful last weekend when I worked it was decent. Feeling lots of movement all throughout the day. It used to be mainly at night but now varies off/on all day. Sometimes it feels like she is up in my ribcage and I have a hard time sitting up straight. I have all newborn, 0-3, and 3-6 months clothes washed and put away in drawers/closet. I just have a feeling this little missy is going to be long and is not even going to fit into newborn sleepers. We will see soon enough though!! Trying to pick out an outfit for coming home from the hospital is about impossible. My mom & I narrowed it down to 5 different ones. When I told Rhett he could help pick from the 5 his response was "Who cares what she wears home." Haha!! He may not care now but he will still be helping me decide when the time comes. We are no where near closer to picking a name than we were 2 months ago. My weight gain now is around 28.5 lbs which I feel just fine with. No swelling still so fingers crossed it keeps holding off. My maternity pictures are in a few weeks so just hoping if I get any swelling it waits until after we get them done. Rhett had a diaper party this past Sunday. Thank you to all friends/family that came and spent the day and brought diapers. We appreciate it greatly. I was not home for majority of the party but I think all the guys had a good time and enjoyed themselves. My Mom spent a good 4 hours helping me organize everything from the shower & in the baby room. Thank you thank you!!! I never would've gotten it all done alone.
I am feeling a bit tired so going to go lay down and rest before I am off to work for the day then I have 4 days off!!!! Yay!!!!!
